i will tell you some steps to run fast your pc..........follow me............

Kindly perform all steps after connecting AC adapter.

1). Go to Start type Run and type Prefetch and delete all the files under this folder.

2). Go to Start type Run and type %temp% and delete all the contents (some of the files cannot be deleted so leave those files)

 3). Go to  Start  type Run and type msconfig then Select Services Tab and check the options Hide All Microsoft Services and Select Start up tab and uncheck unwanted options.

4). Go to  Start  type Run and type Regedit

       a.  Click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE System then choose CurrentControlSet :       

             then Control then Session Manager then  Memory Management.

       b.  Then in right pane double click on Disable Paging Executive and change from 

             0 value to  1.

5). Disable Remote Differential Compression by going to 

      Start >> Control Panel >> Programs & Features >> Turn  
       Windows Features On or Off

Now, Remove check mark from Remote Differential Compression and click on ok.

1. Click Start button.
2. Type clean in the Start Search box.
3. Click Disk Cleanup from the search results list.
4. Select Files from All Users on this computer option.
5. Disk Cleanup will perform calculation to determine how much space it can free. Once done, click on More Options tab.
6. Under the section of System Restore and Shadow Copies, click on Clean up… button.

10)  Also System restore in Vista takes huge space to store restore points. This is also  

       Windows’ regular process. Kindly guide this customer to turn off system restore or to limit 

       the space for system restore :-

1.     Right click on Computer then select Properties.

2.     In the left pane, click System Protection.

                 3.     You will see a list of hard disk drives installed on your system, with checkboxes
       

                        to the left. The check boxes with tick indicate that System Restore is on for that
   

                        particular volume. So to to turn off System Protection for a hard disk, clear
                      

                        (untick) the check box next to the disk.

                 4.     Once you uncheck the checkbox, a System Protection dialog box will appear.  

                        Click on Turn System Restore Off button.

                 5.   Click OK and System Restore is now off.
